Rev. Frank John Chase was the son of Nathan L. and Louisa (Denman) Chase. Alice M. McLaury Chase was his 1st wife. They were married in 1885 and she died June 30, 1926. Adele W. Chase was his 2nd wife. They were married before 1930. He was a minister in the Universalist Church - ordained 1884. He was a minister in the Congregational Church - 1894. He was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church (on credentials): Genesee (now Western New York) Conference 1894-1910. He served Sherman 1884-1885-1886-1887 - Rochester: Second Universalist Church 1888-1889-1890-1891 - Bay City, Michigan: First Universalist Church 1892-1893 - Supplied four months Detroit, Michigan: Lincoln Ave., Methodist Episcopal Church 1894 - Attica, Wyoming Co., Genesee District, NY 1894-1895-1896 - Dansville, Livingston co., Genesee Dist., NY 1897-1898-1899-1900 - Lancaster, Erie Co., Buffalo Dist., NY 1901-1902-1903 - Buffalo: Normal Park, Erie Co., Buffalo Dist., NY 1904-1905-1906-1907 - Buffalo: Ontario Street, Erie Co., Buffalo Dist., NY 1908 - Buffalo: Seneca Street, Erie Co., Buffalo Dist., NY 1909-1910 - Withdrawn 1911. He is a strong and eloquent preacher and draws large congregations. In the dense population where this church is located, he will have a large hearing.
