"Mrs. Louisa Chase died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Bennet, at Milford, Wednesday morning of la grippe. She was eighty-two years of age and the widow of the late Nathan L. Chase a well known resident in this county in the eighties. She is survived besides the daughter mentioned by one daughter and two sons all well and favorably known, Mrs. C. E. Colburn of Milford, F. J. Chase D. D. of Buffalo and W. M. Chase of Portlandville. The funeral will be held from the Bennett home on Friday at 12 m., the Rev. H. N. Van Dusen of Flycreek, a former pastor of the deceased, officiating. Interment in Flycreek cemetery.---Our Milford Reporter."
