ALFRED MOTT
Alfred Mott, 88, passed away Sunday morning at the Family Heritage Home,
Manitowoc. He had been in failing health the past year. Mr. Mott was born on
April 13, 1878 in the Town of Gibson, son of the late George and Sarah Hayes
Mott. He married the former Emma Foreman at Larrabee on January 16, 1898. She
preceded him in death in August, 1925. He farmed most of his life in the Town
of Gibson.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Harry (Esther) Thomas, Mrs. Vernon
(Irene) Byle, Milwaukee; Mrs. Walter (Luella) Fuetterer, West Chester, Ill.,
Mrs. Frank (Lula) Doerr, Brookfield, Ill.; a son, Lester, Milwaukee; a sister,
Mrs. George Lorenz, Manitowoc; four brothers, Weldon and Sam, Larrabee, Willard
and Oliver, Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren. Two daughters and a sister preceded
him in death.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Lambert Funeral Home,
Mishicot with the Rev. Lawrenz Kern officiating. Burial was in Mishicot Public
Cemetery.
