BUHL – Willette A. ""Boo"" Easterwood, age 83, of Buhl, Ala., died June 24, 2016, at home. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2016, at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today, June 26, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H.P. Easterwood; son, Randy Easterwood; and grandson, Jeremy Baisden.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Langston (Jimmy), Paula G. Haynes (Carl) of Northport, Ala. and Jackie N. Baisden (Lee) of Buhl, Ala.; son, Curtis D. Easterwood (Bonnie) of Buhl, Ala.; and grandchildren, Jennifer Herrin, Trey Haynes, Justin Easterwood, Bradley Easterwood, Brian McCollum, Tandy Thaggard, Carrie McCollum, Kelly Ann Easterwood and Christopher Easterwood; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Willette "Boo" Easterwood was born August 4, 1932 in Jacksonville, Ala. She attended Cedar Springs Elementary School and graduated from Jacksonville High School.
She married H. P. Easterwood on March 17, 1956. She had three children, Paula Hayne, Curtis Easterwood and Jackie Easterwood and two stepchildren, Linda Langston and Randy Easterwood.
She traveled and lived all over the southeast following her husband's job. The farthest was in Saudi Arabia. She enjoyed trips to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Justin Easterwood, Bradley Easterwood, Trey Haynes, Ronnie Mason and Colin Tilley.
Honorary pallbearers are the ladies at Just Hair.
