Daughter of William Fredrick Rigby and Isola Amelia Bills. As a small child my dad moved to Clear Creek where he worked in the coal mines but after several years then we moved back to Fairview where my folks bought a small home. At age six we moved back to Carbon County because my father had work again at the mine. I hated moving and making new friends. We again moved to Winter Quarters where Uncle DeMoss Bills was Principal and Aunt Ida taught school. After a few years that mine closed down, we then moved to Hiawatha. To attend High school, by then I was a freshmen, we had to ride a school bus 18 miles to Carbon High School in Price. However, after my junior year we moved back to Fairview where I graduated from North Sanpete High School in Mt Pleasant 1933. In 1940 she married Carlyle Nelson Cox and they bought the Cox Farm where they raised hay & grain and produced Apricots and raspberries, marketed chickens and cattle.

Our first real vacation took place in 1954, when we spent about ten days in Yellowstone Park with Woodrow, Alice and family. Tragedy hit a few months later when my father passed away from cancer in 1954. I felt so alone with both of my parents gone. However,we have been bless with six sons. and a great support to me after Carlyle death in 1976.
