Harry was retired from Union Carbide in Oak Ridge having served over 35 years as an accountant. He was a lifetime member and past president of National Accountants Association. Preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Jo McCarroll Brown.
Harry is survived by his son, Charles Daniel Brown and his wife, Linda Tallent Brown of Brentwood, Tn.; grandchildren, James Scott Brown and his wife, Harkness of Brentwood, Ashley Sullivan Brown of Knoxville; great grandson, Matthew Tallent Brown of Brentwood; sister, Olivette Cherry of Knoxville; nieces, Cathy Worrell and her husband, Bob of Farragut, Tara Cherry of Knoxville,nephew, Bill Cherry of Louisville Ky., nieces, Pam Graves and husband, Rodney of Lenoir City, Ronda Brewer of Lenoir City; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hartsook of Lenoir City and Florence Rainsbarger of Phoenix, Az.; special friend Gayle Begley of Lenoir City
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Family and friends will then proceed to the Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment with Rev. David Bluford officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 4708 Papermill Dr., Knoxville, Tn. 37909.
