Mrs. Alma Hudnall Beard, 90, of Box 410, Spangler Road, Pond Gap, died April 25, 1987, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a short illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Pond Gap and a member of the former Mount Zion Baptist Church, Laurel Fork.
Surviving: sons, the Rev. Woodie Beard of Mammoth, Charles and Kenneth Ray, both of Witcher Creek, Donovan of Pond Gap; daughters, Mrs. Elsie Hamrick of Cedar Grove, Mrs. Esther Ramsey of Pond Gap and Mrs. Geneva Goodwin of Charleston; brother, James Hudnall of Ward; sister, Mrs. Ruby Boner of Bridgeton, N.J.; 26 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Cook Funeral Home, Cedar Grove.
