Archie Quitman was born November 26, 1917 in Lake Village, Arkansas. He passed away July 2, 2016 in Yuba City. His parents were the late James and Ella Quitman.

Archie was a loyal and faithful member to Bethel AME Church. He volunteered to many positions at the church until he became disabled. He enjoyed playing the lottery and going to the casinos.

He was married to the late Lydia Quitman and preceded in death by their children, Loraine Sandoval, Debra Quitman and Gilbert Quitman; one brother and five sisters.

He is survived by his wife; daughter; four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 12th, 2016 at 10:00 am at Bethel AME Church. Viewing will be from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. Interment will be at Sutter Cemetery, Sutter, CA.
