Death of Mrs. Murray
Mrs. Elizabeth Murray, aged 62 years, died yesterday morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. James Rice, of 28 West Center street, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Murray was the mother of the late Joseph Laird, who died in Portland and was buried in this city. Mrs. Murray was a native of Clunslee, Queens county, Ireland, and had been a resident of Butte for the last two years.
Four daughters and two sons survive her. They are James and John Laird, Mrs. James Ryan of Yonkers, N.Y., Mrs. Patrick O'Brien of Mount Hope, N.J., and Mrs. James Kelly of this city.
The body will be taken to St. Lawrence church in Centerville on Friday morning, March 18, at 9:20 o'clock, where high mass will be celebrated. The remains will be interred in the Catholic cemetery here.
