Mr. Thomas Dupree, eldest son of the late Thomas Dupree and Christina Hart Dupree, died at his home on Thursday, June 22. For the past three years he had not enjoyed his usual good health due to a heart ailment and complications, and four weeks ago he suffered a stroke. He was born in Fort Covington and lived here nearly all his life. As a young man he was employed by the Spaulding Sporting Goods Company
in Chicopee Falls, Mass., but retired several years ago and had since made his home here. He is survived by two brothers, William and Ezra, and three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Gadbois of Cornwall; Elizabeth and Harriet. A requiem high mass was held at St. Mary's Church Saturday morning with Rev. Fr. Taylor of Trout River officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.
