Mrs. Nell Simpson, 67, 708 4th Ave. SE, died Wednesday at 1 p.m. in a local hospital.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from the East End Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Adkins, and Rev. Homer Hayes officiating. Burial will be in City Cemetery with Guntharp directing.
Survivors include two step-daughters, Mrs. Harold Field, Decatur; Mrs. Thomas McDaniels, Georgia; one step-son, Harold Simpson, Mobile; one sister, Mrs. Guy Strickland, Decatur; one brother, Dewey Sanderson, Cincinatti, Ohio.
Pallbearers include; Byron Thomas, Norman Sparkman, W.R. Slayton, Floyd Ferguson, Johnny Hill, and Larry Wilhite.
The body will remain at the funeral home until time to be taken to the church where it will lie in state from 1 to 3 p.m.
