Mrs. Agnes Taylor Barron, age 92, passed away on July 14, 2016.
Funeral Services will be held at Williams White Columns Funeral Home in Gordon on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 3PM. Interment will follow in Irwinton Masonic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2PM until the service hour.
Mrs. Barron was a native of Irwinton and was the daughter of the late David Fluker. Taylor and Agnes Dora Billue Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Stephen Barron. Mrs. Barron was retired from Central State Hospital and was a member of Irwinton Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Barron of Danville, Lee Barron of Gordon; Daughter, Sharon (Wayne) Davis of Snellville; Grandchildren, Tanya Bass, John Barron, and Stephenie Chastain; Great grandchild, Davis Chastain.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Bryant Health and Rehab in Cochran.
