OBITUARY: ARTHUR DENT HARDMAN

Hardman, Arthur D., of R.D. 2, Reynoldsville, PA, died this morning in the Maple Ave. Hospital in Dubois after a long illness.

Mr. Hardman was born Apr. 12, 1880, in Reedsville, son of the late Roland H. and Carrie BUMBAUGH Hardman. Before moving to Reynoldsville 18 years ago, he lived in McKeesport, PA, and was a retired employee of the National Tube Works, U.S. Steel Corp.

In addition to his widow, Lynne CRAIG Hardman, he is survived by daughters, Mrs. Clarence Rudolph with whom he resided and Mrs. Richard H. Swartz of McKeesport; a grandson and a great granddaughter.

Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today in the Eugene F. Smith Funeral Home, Reynoldsville, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Michael T. Hulihan. Interment will take place in Beechwood Cemetery near Falls Creek, PA.
