Colleen Davis Timms, 93 of Anderson, SC passed away at her home on Sunday, July 17th, 2016. She was the daughter of the late William Jasper and Lula Ann Wells Davis born on October 27th, 1922 in Centerville, SC. Mrs. Timms was a Charter member of River of Life Church of God where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and past Elder of the church. She retired from the Singer Company in Anderson after several years of employment.
Surviving Mrs. Timms are her children: Kathy Moore (James) of Westminster, SC, Patsy Wilson (John) of Ft. Mill, SC, Mary Ann Rowland of Anderson, Rodney Timms (Vickie) of Ft. Mill, SC, and Marshall Timms (Vicky) of Anderson, SC; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and 9 great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her loving husband: Samuel Augustus Timms Mrs. Timms was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters and her son-in-law: Norman Rowland.
A funeral service will be held at River of Life Church of God on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016 at 3:00pm with the Pastor Dale Dyar and Pastor Kevin Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson. The Timms family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:30pm prior to the service at the church on Wednesday, July 20th, 2016.
Flowers will be accepted and memorial donations can be directed to either River of Life Church of God, 601 S. McDuffie St., Anderson, SC 29621 or Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road | Anderson, SC 29621.
