DOROTHY PERINO RITES ARE TODAY
Dorothy Perino, 86, Idabel, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2003, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 6, 1916, at Richmond, Va., the daughter of Walter and Mary Elmore Green.
She graduated in 1934 from Belleville Township High School, Belleville, Ill. She married Gregory Perino on April 4, 1937, at Belleville and had lived there until moving to Tulsa in 1957. They had been residents of Idabel for the past 25 years after moving from Tulsa.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Easton Heights Baptist Church, Tulsa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, and one grandson, John David Perino.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 66 years, Gregory Perino, Idabel; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Janice Perino, Springfield, Ill., and Robert and Linda Perino, Owasso, Okla.; her daughters and son-in-law, Sandra and Gene Rodgers, North Richland Hills, Texas, and Sue Cole, Idabel; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a host of other friends.
Services were at 2 p.m. today, May 20, at Norwood-Coffe-Leonard Chapel, Idabel, with Bro. LaRoi Woods officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
