He is survived by his former wives, Kathy and Lyndia, 2 sons, 4 daughters, a brother, Nilton LaRousse, a sister, 20 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Louisiana LaRousse; sons Donald and Burk LaRousse; son-in-law, Adlis Dempster Sr.; 8 brothers; 2 sisters; 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild.
He was a member of American Legion Post 316 of Des Allemands. He was also Campaign Manager for Sheriff Greg Champagne.
