Giuseppi Colasanto was originally buried in Section 14, Lot 1322 with Guistino Morelli (1894-1942) (brother of Izza (Morelli) Spetrini). On April 13, 1945 he was moved to Section 21, Lot 42. Not sure if there is any family connection.

Joseph Colasanto, retired cobbler, dies at his home on Grant St.; ill short time

Joseph Colasanto, a retired cobbler, died yesterday at his home, 43 Grant St., after a brief illness. He was born in Torelli, Province of Avalino, Italy, on May 4, 1889, son of Nicola and Raffaela Colasanto. He came to this country 38 years ago and ran a shoe repair business in this city until his retirement last year.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Maria (Gelfone) Colasanto; two sons, Joseph Colasanto, Jr. and Nicholas Colasanto, seaman le, U.S.N.; five daughters, Misses Rose, Phyllis and Antonetta Colasanto, Mrs. Michael Anzevina of this city and Mrs. Joseph DeConnellis of North Providence; two brothers, Ralph and Salvatore Colasanto, both of Waterbury, CT.

The funeral will be held from the home on Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock with a requiem high Mass in the Church of the Holy Ghost, Knight St, at 9:30 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery.
