LeLand "Bob" Robert Rose died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at a local care center. He was 76.
Mr. Rose, who was born June 5, 1926, in Decatur, Ill., lived in Vancouver 75 years.
He worked for Alcoa and was a member of the Alcoa 25-Year Club.
A daughter, Bobbie Rose, died in 1989.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannine A., at home; four stepdaughters, Wendy Lee, Marla Wood and Melodie Bannan, all of Vancouver, and Michelle Burns of Phoenix, Ariz.; two stepsons, Matt Kilwein of Vancouver and Mike Kilwein of Stevenson; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Rose was a member of several citizen band radio clubs and loved hunting and fishing.
A memorial service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, with burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
