Wanda Mae Guy, 67, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014. She was born October 19, 1947 in Waynesville, North Carolina to the late Elbert & Bertie Mills. Wanda had lived in Jacksonville for the past 43 years, was a loving mother, sister, nana, friend and will be dearly missed by all. She was predeceased by her daughter, Monica Conard Griffin and brother Floyd Mills. Survivors include her daughters, Angela Young, Penny Smith (Wesley); brothers, Bill Mills (Deb), Carroll Mills; sisters, Georgia Greene (Don), Mary Sue Sessom; grandchildren, Brittany Cox (Allen), Jonathan Conard, Dylan Griffin, Jessica Young, Mikayla Smith, Michael Smith; great grandchild, Noah Cox; numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 10 at 12 pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, with Pastor Jim Bird officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen cemetery.
