Aileen Eastman, of Sulligent, AL, passed away Monday morning at her residence. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 2:00 pm from Union Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in Webb Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Aileen was born in Lamar County, AL, to the late Alvin and Grodie Herron Eastman. She grew up in the Beaverton area and attended Webb School and Sulligent High School. For many years she worked as a seamstress at McCoy Manufacturing and Detroit Slacks as well as working at mobile home factories. Aileen was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church.
