Roger Moody Sr., 69, of Hallstead, PA went home to be with his Lord on July 30, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Tressa. He is also survived by four children, Amy and William Kyttle, Ann and Brian Decker, Anita and Jim Dugan, and Roger Jr. and Hillary Moody; three granddaughters, Vanessa Kyttle, Serena Dugan, and Adaline Moody; five step grandchildren, Rebecca Kyttle, William Kyttle, Christi Fox, Scotty Decker, and Kylie Decker; six step great grandchildren; siblings, William Stott, William Moody Sr., Albert Moody, Kenny Moody, Jimmy Moody, Linda Smart, Jeanette Smart, Claude Moody, and Harold Moody; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Adaline Moody; two sisters, Edna Towne and Claudia Grier. Roger worked as a truck driver and was an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger years. He enjoyed mowing lawns and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. Roger looked forward to his morning coffee with Putsey. More than anything, he loved spending time with his granddaughters. Roger was a long time member of the Stanfordville Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Stanfordville Baptist Church. Interment will be made in Brookdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. Memorial contributions in his memory may take the form of a donation to the Stanfordville Baptist Church, Building Fund, 23456 SR29, Hallstead, PA 18822.
