AARON SCRUGGS
~ MAYO, S.C. - Aaron "Bug Man" Scruggs, 65, of 130 Bonner Road, died Tuesday, July 10, 1990, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
~ A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late Zee and Carrie Hames Scruggs and the husband of Doris Cash Scruggs of the home.
~ He was owner and operator of Piedmont Exterminating Company.
~ Survivors include two sons, Randall Scruggs of Mayo and Phil Effler Scruggs of Green Creek; two daughters, Judy Smith of Chesnee and Debra Phillips of Mayo; four brothers, Detroy Whitey Scruggs of Cowpens, Miles Scruggs of Gaffney, T.J. and Gene Scruggs of Clifton, and Albert "Jr." Scruggs of Chesnee; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
~ Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Chapel in Chesnee conducted by the Revs. Tom James and Mark Wilcox. Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee;
~ The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight in Forest Lawn Mortuary.
