Stacy was born August 3, 1977 in Manitowoc. Daughter of Joel and Patricia (Mathiesen) Engelbrecht. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1995 from Lincoln High School. On September 29, 2012 Stacy married David Wellner in Manitowoc. She was employed at Walmart, and loved to do crafting.
Stacy is survived by her husband: David Wellner, Manitowoc; one son: Private First Class Caleb Wellner USMC, Fort Lee, VA; her parents: Joel and Patricia Engelbrecht, Manitowoc; one brother: Andy Engelbrecht, Manitowoc; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Christine Engelbrecht and her fiancé Chris Ruelle, Manitowoc; Julie (Erich) Jaskolski, Two Rivers; seven brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law: Michael (Irene) Kocourek, Manitowoc; George (Terri) Kocourek, Dickson, TN; Alan Kocourek, Sheboygan; Gina (Mark) Powel, Central City, IA; Edward (Brenda) Kocourek, Manitowoc; Donna (Roger) Naidl, Manitowoc; Dale (Stacy) Wellner, Appleton; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Earl and Pearl Mathiesen; paternal grandparents: Alfred and Evangeline Engelbrecht; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Richard and Joleen Wellner; and one uncle.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory 1122 South 8th St. Manitowoc, George Kocourek will officiate, entombment will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum.
