According to an Early Settlers of Lauderdale County, MS article from THE MERIDIAN STAR some of the Hunter land was bought by Andrew Brown, former Justice of the Peace and former County Supervisor of Lauderdale County. He and his wife lived there for many years. He then sold it to Etta Allen Booker and husband William Andrew Booker.
