She was preceded in death by her husband, Gavin "Son" Patterson; three sons, Bill, Glen, and Delmar Patterson; a grandson, Richard Patterson; a granddaughter, Renee Patterson; and a great-great-grandson, Andrew Nichols.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Wilson of Mulberry and Kathy Yancy of Mulberry; 3 sons, Wallace Patterson of Mulberry, Roy Patterson of Mulberry and Kenneth Patterson of Alma; one sister, Edna James of Mulberry; 28 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She loved to garden and canned everything she could raise.She loved to fish and she could shoot a gun.Ocie was a sweet,kind lady that could tat,crochet, sew,make quilts and cook delicious simple meals.Neighborhood kids loved to come to her house and eat her delicious meals that she prepared.She loved to talk about the old days.
