Mrs. Mildred Minton, 86, of Hickman passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden, TN.

She was born on January 29, 1930 in Cayce, Kentucky to the late Leon and Virgie (Sharp) Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Minton, brother, Leon Harris, Jr. and sisters, Anna Adams and Virginia Brinkley.
Mrs. Minton was a member of the West Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Van Minton of Buffalo, NY and Gary Minton of Hickman, KY; daughter, Joni Brackett of South Fulton, TN; brothers, Charles Harris and Gentry Harris; sister, Brenda Curtsinger, grandsons, Blaze Minton, Scott Minton, Rick Cagle and Greg Cagle and 8 great grandchildren.
