Mrs. Louis Atchison Of Near Cape Succumbs
Mrs. Amelia Atchison, 58 years old, wife of Louis Atchison, Cape Route 1, died at 1:55 a.m. today at a hospital here following a two weeks illness of a heart ailment. She had been in the hospital since Nov 19.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Egypt Mills Lutheran Church with the pastor Rev Arne Meyer, in charge. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will remain at the Brinkopf Howell Funeral Home until noon Sunday.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Atchison leaves a son, Stanley Atchison of Riverside, Cal, five sisters Mrs. Frank NiedlIng of Egypt Mills, Mrs. Lillie Kelpe and Mrs Edward Schwettman of Cape Girardeau, Mrs. Minnie Kuss of St. Louis and Mrs. Herbert Thilenius of Redland, Wash., a brother, Fred Baker of Greenville, Miss.
Mrs. Atchison was born at Egypt Mills on Aug. 2, 1893. She was married to Mr. Atchison on April 12, 1917.
