Jimmie Kincaid, 71, of Abraham, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at his home following a long illness.
Born July 2, 1928, at Abraham, he was the son of the late Charlie Kincaid and Lora Plumley Kincaid.
Mr. Kincaid was a retired farmer and attended the New Salem Baptist Church at Abraham. He was a lifelong resident of Abraham.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dollie and Lillian Kincaid; and two brothers, Bobby and Jessie Kincaid.
Survivors include four sisters, Kathleen Richmond and husband, Paul, of Daniels, Ethelene Ballengee and husband, Billy, of Pluto, Gladys Ballengee and husband, Arthur, of Pluto, and Ruby Harmon and husband, Larry, of Glen Morgan.
Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at New Salem Baptist Church, Abraham, with the Rev. John Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Abraham.
Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home, Beckley, and one hour before the services Saturday at the church.
Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
