George D. Kelly, 95, died Jan 17, 1997 at a Fort Kent hospital. He was born in Allagash, June 17, 1901, the son of Leonard and Caroline (Hafford) Kelly. He was predeceased by his wife, Myrtle (McBreairty) Kelly in 1948 and a son, Pat in 1939. He is survived by two daughters, Dora McBreairty of Allagash and Annie O'Leary and son-in-law Glenn McBreairty of St. John; one sister Mina McBreairty of St. Francis; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
