VASSALBORO - Susan Marden, 60, passed away on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, after a long illness. Susan was born on July 26, 1956, the daughter of Jesse and Marie Akers.
She was a graduate of Winslow High School and Kennebec Valley Technical College.
Susan is survived by brothers Jesse (Laurel) Akers, David (Nancy) Akers, and Roger Akers; sister-in-law Eileen Ronco; longtime care giver Wally Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank (Skip) Marden, and brothers Raymond and Robert Akers.
A private burial will be held at a later date at the new Augusta Memorial Veterans' Cemetery. (Central Maine Newspapers 8/14/2016)
