Survivors include four brothers, Jessie Akers, Jr. of Vassalboro, David Akers, Sr. of Waterville, Raymond Akers of Vassalboro and Roger Akers of Harrison; a sister, Susan Marden of Vassalboro and by several nieces and nephews.
