Velma Irene Kidd, 76, of Springfield died Saturday at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 27, 1917, in Springfield, the daughter of George Edward and Flora Elizabeth Fox Vetter.
She had been a lifelong resident of Springfield and was employed by the state Department of Revenue, retiring in 1990.
Survivors: son, Dale Kidd of Amarillo, Texas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Vetter of Missouri; two sisters, Mary Kunz and Doris Lubonovich, both of Tovey; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Charles Lee officiating.
Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park.
