Mr. William "Bill" Armstrong, 81, of Wills Point, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016, at his residence with his loving family at his side. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Corley Funeral Home. A graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery, officiated by Dr. Mark Luera.

Bill was born in Sacred Heart, Oklahoma, to the late George W. and Edna (McMillion) Armstrong. He was a simple man who was always persistent in his ways. He loved his grandchildren and his family. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers; and he enjoyed listening to the music of George Jones. Bill owned and operated Bill's Truck Repair in Dallas for many years.

He is preceded in death by his brother, George Armstrong, Jr.; and sister, Lorene Hastings.

Surviviors include his wife, Nadine Armstrong; sons, Rusty Byrant and wife, Linda, and Mike Arnett and wife, Shaye; daughter, Anita Lyons and husband, Keith; grandchildren: Cody Bryant, Derrick Shaver, Justin Shaver, Chelsey Arnett, Nicholas Arnett, Keiandra Lyons, Dominique Lyons, T.J. Lyons, Paige Lyons; honorary granddaughter, Sonya Dominguez; brother, Jack Armstrong and wife, Brenda; sister, Sue Farr and husband, Charles; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
