Funeral Service for Jack Edward Armstrong, 80, of Brent community, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Gans Assembly of God Church in Gans, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Gans Cemetery in Gans, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on August 17, 1939 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Edna (McMillon) Armstrong and George Washington Armstrong and passed away on October 20, 2019 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was an U.S. Navy Veteran, worked as a maintenance engineer and supervisor and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are:

2 sons and daughters-in-law: Billy C. Armstrong and DeAnn of Brent community, OK and Jack E. Armstrong, Jr. and Katrina of Sallisaw, OK;

2 grandchildren: Blake and KassiDee Armstrong of Brent community, OK;

3 step children: Chris Bailey of Seattle, WA, Melinda Rhoads of Gans, OK and Doug Bailey of Muldrow, OK;

step grandchildren: Calvin, Gregory, Lance, Katrina and Christina Bailey, Jarred Rape and Chelsea Bates;

sister: Donna Sue and Charlie Farr of Choctaw, OK;

sister-in-law: Nadine Armstrong of Wills Point, TX;

companion: Brenda Timm;

numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded by her parents, wife: Brenda Elvie Davis Bailey, 2 brothers: George W. Armstrong, Jr. and William F. Armstrong and 1 sister: Lorene (Betty) Hastings.

Active Pallbearers will be Holden Hoyer, Luke Wharton, Blake Armstrong, Steve Woodruff, Todd Rhoads and Ronnie Bedwell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Fred Brewer, Ron Goff, Mike Rhoads, Frankie Woodruff, Shelby Mac Merrill, KassiDee Armstrong, Harold Matlock and Eric Dundee.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OKlahoma where family will greet 6 – 8 PM.
