MARY AGNES LANIER ALMAND PERRY

FIRST MARRIAGE
On August 16,1947 Agnes Lanier married W.T. (William Tensley) Almand at home of her parents Walter Stone and Gertrude Lanier in Hutchins, Georgia. She was attired in white wedding dress made by her sister LaTrelle Lanier Ethridge. They had two sons born of their love. He was sadly killed by a drunk/drugged driver in September of 1978.

SECOND MARRIAGE
It was an honor for Agnes as she became the wife of ----- Perry in October of 1984.They were married at Gordon Baptist Church in Gordon, Georgia. They lived a full life with children and grandchildren, and great children. On August 17, 2016 a driver decided that speed was needed on a city street. Billy's son had taken his father to a cancer doctor and Agnes was in the back seat. The wreck ( no accident) at 11am at Forsyth and Zebulon in Macon, Georgia, just a short distance from their home. ===== son, =====, and Agnes were all injured. At time of death, her husband ===== remains in hospital and his son at home recovering from injuries. My loved ones were stopped in the turn lane when hit head on by female driving an F-150 at high rate of speed. Agnes was pronounced dead at 2:45 pm on August 26, 2016 after suffering every minute since the wreck.

" Agnes A. Perry,87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 26,2016. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, August 29th at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev.Lanny ----- and Rev. Mac ------- officiating. The family will greet friends on Monday from 1:00P.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to American Pediatrics , P.O.Box 11454, Alexandria,VA 22312. Mrs. Perry was born in Winterville,Georgia to the late Walter Stone and Gertrude Smith Lanier. She is preceded in death by her first husband,W.T. Almand and nine siblings . She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister , and aunt.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Perry, of 32 years, two sons and their wives, two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, brother, several nieces and nephews, step- son and his wife ( and family), step- daughter and her husband ( and family).
