Michele "Mike" Workman, 53, of Aurora, CO who enjoyed reading, collecting glass and fishing, died April 30, 1998 in Aurora.
Michele, the daughter of Wayne and Hazel Goodwin Lytton, was born Nov. 18, 1944, in Atlantic, where she grew up and graduated from Atlantic High School in 1963. She married Jim Workman on June 12, 1966, in Atlantic. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Des Moines and was a registered nurse and nursing instructor.
Surviving are her husband, Jim Workman of Aurora: two daughters, Stephanie Workman of West Gardiner, Maine and Nicole Workman of Aurora: her father, Wayne Lytton of West Des Moines: two brothers, Jan Lytton of West Des Moines and Robert Garside of Las Vegas, NV.
She was preceded in death by her mother in March of 1998.
Graveside services for the cremated remains of Michele Workman will be Wednesday, July 22, at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Township Cemetery south of Griswold, with the Rev. James H Wakelin officiating. Roland Funeral Service of Atlantic is in charge of arrangements.
