He was married to Ruth Hoffman. He was survived by his wife, 2 sons, 2 daughters and their husbands, 7 grandchildren, 6 brothers and 6 sisters: Otto at Laurel, Louie at Graettinger, Iowa; Chris at Potter, Edwin at Elm Creek, Elmer at Pierce; Raymond, Mrs. Robert Dietz, Mrs. Carl Lambrecht, Mrs. Harold Heckman Thompson at Dixon.
