Obituary
Allentown Democrat
Allentown, Lehigh, PA
19 Nov 1879

DIED. -- Lydia, the wife of Mr. Jonathan Fenstermacher, of Lowhill, died on Thursday week, after long suffering with consumption.

She was a devoted wife and mother, and her demise is sadly mourned by the bereaved husband and family.

In her death the relatives and friends and community at large have encountered a loss that is irreparable, and while we realize the futility of human efforts in attempting to lift the veil by affliction, yet there is this consolation that it has undoubtedly fallen to her lot to realize the fruition of that "peace that passeth all understanding."

She was a noble wife, and with the husband remaining we sympathize in his deep affliction. Deceased was a daughter of Jacob George, dec'd., of the Leather Corner Post.
