Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Tulip Church of God for Mrs. Sarah HUNTER, 74-year-old resident of the Pleasant Ridge community. Joe WALLS officiated at the final rites and burial was in the Tulip Cemetery, with Jenkins & Sons in charge.
Mrs. HUNTER passed away at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at her home. The daughter of Ed and Amanda Jane (COX) BEASLEY, she was born October 17, 1877. Her husband, Frank HUNTER, preceded her in death on January 30, 1951.
Surviving her are five sons, Dustin O., Dexter and Delbert HUNTER, of Bloomington; Dally B. HUNTER, of Walton, and Douglas HUNTER, of Detroit, Michigan, and five daughters, Mrs. TILMAN CRITES and Mrs. Dorman RIVERS, of Calvertville; Mrs. Ray CHRISTENBERRY and Mrs. Robert SULLIVAN, of Bloomfield route, and Mrs. J. A. SPARKS, of Lyons.
