Berry was a Civil War Veteran who was born in Union County, Tennessee in Feb, 1836 was in the 1st Regiment, Tennessee Infantry, Company C. He did survive the War, and passed in Campbell County, Tennessee on the 18th of October 1924, buried in Braden Cemetery, Union County, Tennessee.

His parents were Berry Ellison sr. :1814 - 1879

Catherine 'nee Boriff Ellison : 1809 - 1885

Both born and passed in Tennessee


His wife was Tabitha Pyety "Titha" Boriff

Together they had 4 sons and 5 daughters. Some stayed in Tennessee and some migrated to Monroe, Michigan. One daughter moved to Washington where she passed.
