Charles Apel, 72, of Wellman, IA, formerly of the Moberly area, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Parkview Manor in Wellman, IA. He was born February 28, 1944 in Harrisburg, MO to James Walter and Barbara Ellen (Sharon) Apel.
Survivors include his children; Ritchie, James, Scott, Charles, Jr., Jennifer, Michelle and Melissa, two brothers; Ritchie and George, three sisters; Mary, Goldie and Laurafaye, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his three wives, Janice, Janet and Robin, two sisters, Helen and Barbara and one brother, Arnold.
Services honoring and celebrating Charles' s life were held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayers and burial followed at the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
