Kenneth Hawkins passed away peacefully Dec 1 2006 after a valiant fight with cancer.

Kenneth was born in Twin Falls a son or Carl Hawkins and Goldie Pennington and resided in Boise Idaho the greater part of his life.

He was a World War II veteran who served proudly in the United States Navy as an Electricians Mate.

Kenneth was service manager with Guerdon Industries for many years. In his retirement he especially loved his job as a bus monitor for elementary school children He had a great sense of humor and was loved by the children as they would argue about who got to sit by Ken on the bus The school children liked to bring him little presents and gifts that he would bring home.

Kenneth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and for years taught young children in a primary class .

He was a faithful husband and will be greatly missed by his wife family and friends.

Ken is survived by his devoted wife Dorothy, his only daughter Kathy, her husband Richard. step-sons David Lee and John Mumford, grandchildren Johnel Nunes Scott and Robin Vale, 10 great-grandchildren and two brothers Bill and Gary Hawkins.
