07 July 1910. Carolina Roesch (Mrs. Godrey Roesch) nee Nickles died 25 June 1910. She was married to Godfrey on 11 Sep 1873. This union was blessed with nine children - 4 sons and 5 daughters; one daughter having preceded the mother into eternity. She leaves a bereaved husband and eight children: Mrs. Ella Hickam, Mrs. Millie Dahler, Alma, Esther, Peter, Frank, Carl and James; two brothers, J. W. Nickles of Jamestown and B. F. Nickles of Billings; and two sisters, Mrs. Malinda Schafer [Shaeffer] and Mrs. Millie Hook [Huck] of Illinois.
Carolina and Gottfried are the parents of Ella Roesch-Hickam, Millie Roesch-Dahler, John Roesch, Maggie Roesch, Frank Roesch, Karl Roesch, James Roesch, Alma Roesch-Cheatham and Esther Roesch-Moore.
