Stephen Sagi II, 56, of Freeport died Monday (Dec. 30, 2002) at his home.
He was born Nov. 20, 1946, in Pittsburgh, and lived in the Garfield section of Pittsburgh before moving to Freeport.
A Navy veteran, he served during the Vietnam War.
For 32 years he worked for the Postal Service at the Blawnox Post Office.
Mr. Sagi was a past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3945, Pittsburgh, and a life member of the Natrona Heights VFW, member of the Vietnam Veterans Association and firefighter for the Etna Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Mager Sagi; three sons, Stephen R. Sagi and Bryan (Cathy) Sagi, both of Arnold, and Timothy (Susan) Sagi of Mars; two brothers, Richard Sagi of Lancaster, Calif., and Daniel Sagi of Shaler; and a sister, Suzanne Moore of Plum.
Also surviving are three grandsons, Stephen M., Michael and Johnathan Sagi; and a granddaughter, Rebecca Sagi.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the MATTHEW ARENA FUNERAL HOME, P.C., 2702 Mount Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, Shaler. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 608 High St., Freeport. Everyone is asked to meet at the church. Burial will be in Mount Royal Memorial Park, Glenshaw.
