Elsie was born on July 28, 1929, in Chicago to Arnold and Marie Klaesi.
She was employed as a lab technician at Whirlpool Corp for 32 years and then was employed for 6 ½ years by the Berrien County Sheriff Dept in the Financial Dept of the jail.
She was a charter member of the Fairplain Presbyterian Church. Over the years she had been a member of the Dank, Eastern Star, White Shrine and a volunteer at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
She collected Hummel figurines and was a member of the Hummel Club. She also enjoyed traveling and loved to be involved with cooking and food.
Elsie was an avid supporter of her grandchildren and loved her family.
