Dorothy Bell Balentine, 82, of Lexington, Ala., died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at her residence. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005, at Greenhill Funeral Home chapel, with burial in Tabernacle Cemetery, Greenhill. Brother Bill Smith will officiate.She is survived by her husband, Will Balentine; son, Donnie Balentine and wife, Wilma; daughters, Willie Clemons and husband, Charles, Alice Holden and husband, Frank, Sybil Clemons and husband, Harlan, Carolyn Kelly and husband, Larry; brothers, George Aday and wife, Opal, Guy Aday Jr. and wife, Doyle Jean; sister-in-law, Bobby Aday; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Lila Aday; two brothers, Autry and Collis Aday; and one great-grandson, Justin Holden.Special thanks to Hospice of the Shoals, especially Rebecca, Kristy, Barbara, Leah, Dr. Auxier and Dr. Bennett.She was a member of Green's Chapel Methodist Church.Pallbearers will be Greg, Mike and Chris Clemons, Tony and Tommy Holden, Chad Balentine, Jamie Kelly and Jeff Stutts.Greenhill Funeral Home is directing.
