Terry Nolan McRee, 80, formally of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Sept. 9, 2016 in Sun City, Arizona. Terry was born in Birmingham, AL. Terry migrated to Panama City Beach in 1955 to build and run The Merri-Mac Motel with his parents, Nolan and Margaret McRee. Terry served 8 years in the Naval Air Reserve that included a summer in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Growing up, his favorite pastime was meeting new friends and dancing at The Long Beach Hangout. He is survived by his two daughters, Jill McRee and Janet Collard of Michigan, his brother, Dale McRee of McDonough, Georgia, nieces and a nephew in Georgia, aunts, uncles, and cousins in Alabama. Abiding by his wishes, Terry was cremated. A Memorial Service is planned for Oct. 22, 2016 in Birmingham, AL.
