William Antrobus was born about 1540 in Knutsford, Cheshire, England, a son of William Antrobus.

(1) Elizabeth Rolf on 16 February 1578/79, and
(2) Joan Rogers in 1586.

In his will (written on 7 October 1606 and probated on 29 January 1609/10), he mentioned his wife Joan, his daughter Elizabeth, his son-in-law Robert Kentish and his kinswoman Catherine Antrobus.

He was buried on 23 October 1609 at the Abbey Church of Saint Alban in Saint Albans, Hertfordshire, England.
