William F. Greunke 2990 W. Spencer St., Appleton age 74, died at 11:20 p.m. Monday following a long illness. He was born November 28 1905 in Clintonville, and had been an Appleton resident most of his life. Mr. Greunke had been employed by Zwicker Knitting Mills for over 25 years and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife Frieda nee Glawe Greunke, with whom he celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary, December 22, 1979; two daughters: Mrs. Owen (Mary) Hughes, Appleton; Mrs. Joseph (Carol) Kally, Fountain Valley California; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Sherry, Hortonville; two brothers Edward, Valders; Arnold, Marion; four sisters; Elsie Wilke, Appleton; Esther De Guire, Milwaukee; Mrs Lois (Florence) Malotky, Arlington, Virginia; Mrs Fred (Ruth) Joehnke, Tigard, Oregon; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchlidren. He was preceded in death by two sisters.

The complete funeral will be at 11 a. m. Thursday at Bethany Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ralph Waack officiating. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum. Friends my call 4 to 9 p. m. Wednesday at the Wichmann Funeral Home and after 9 a. m. Thursday at the church until time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
