Vernon Reed Hayward, 99, died Monday, June 14, 2004, at Bortz Healthcare of Oakland, Mich.
Burial will be in Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
She was the daughter of the late Robert Edward Reed and Carrie Voorhies Reed. She was preceded in death by her husband, David P. Hayward.
Survivors include a son, Ira Wilson Adams Jr. of Lincoln Park, Mich.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
